This photograph is of a Coca-Cola shack in Alabama. It was taken in December 1935 by Evans, Walker.
2.What is the setting of the photograph?
The setting is in Alabama, during the day.
3. Describe what you see in the photograph. Include specific details.
In this photograph, I see a Coca-Cola shack, which looks to be deserted. It looks like it is the middle of no-where because nothing else is near it. There looks like to cimines, off to the side of it.
4. What structures are in the photograph?
The structures in this photograph are a Coca-cola bussiness, in poor condition. Surronding this building is a fence and two chimines.
5. What is the tone of the photograph?
The tone of this photo is heavy.
6. Write a paragraph explaining your response to this question.
I think this photograph is heavy because it is sad. There is nothing and nobody around it. It looks like an old abandoned building.
7. Write two questions that you might ask the photographer or the subjects of the picture if you had the opportunity to learn more about the photograph or / and its subject(s).
One question I would ask the photographer about this picture is, was there anything next to the fence that didn’t you didn’t get in the picture? Another question I would ask would be was the shack abandoned or was it just closed?

This photograph is of two flight instructors McTaggart and Gumison talking about things. It was taken at Southeastern Air Training Center, in Selma, Alabama.It was published in August, 1941, by John Collier.
2. What is the setting of the photograph?
The setting of this photograph is in Selma, Alabama during the day, outside.
3. Describe what you see in the photograph.
In this photograph I see two white men talking. There are planes around them which might mean that they are piolits. They look to be about in there 30's.
4. What structures are in the photograph?
The structures in this photo are planes/aircrafts.
5. What is the tone of the photograph?
The tone of this photograph is positive.

The tone of this photo is positive because the there are two flight instructors, which means that they are trying to help other people fly. They might be talking to each other about how to improve their flying skills, so they are helping each other out.

A question that I would ask the photographer would be about how many other planes were at that site? Another question I would ask would be

This photograph is of a man cooking chicken. It takes place in Alabama. It was published in1941 by John Collier.
2. What is the setting of the photograph?
The setting of this photograph is indoors, during the day.
3. Describe what you see in the photograph. Include specific details.
In this photograph, there is a black man about 29 cooking chicken.
4. What structures are in the photograph?
I think this is a business because the man is wearing what looks to be a chief’s outfit. The spacing looks crammed because the man is on the side shoved in a tiny corner.

The tone of the photo is positive.

I think that the tone of the photo is positive because the man could be cooking chicken for a family that doesn’t have money and is very Hungary, and is just going to give it to them for free. I also think it is positive because he has a smile on his face, so maybe he knows that he is doing something good.

One question I would like to ask the photographer would be who is the man cooking chicken for? Another question that I would like to ask would be why does the man have a smile on his face?
